Al-Fredricks Return was founded out of a deeply personal loss and a commitment to create real change. After losing her son to senseless gun violence, Veronica Williams dedicated her work to helping individuals in prison break cycles of violence, make different choices, and prepare for a better future.
Today, we partner with correctional facilities across the country to develop and implement gang renouncement and reentry-focused programs. We understand that many facilities want to offer this kind of support but may not have the structure, training, or resources to get started, that’s where we come in.
Through training, consultation, and hands-on guidance, we equip staff with the tools to support individuals who are ready to step away from gang involvement, take accountability, and begin preparing for a successful return to their communities.
